God Hates Fags

Or at least that's what a small fanatical, inbred (the cult is comprised primarily of two different families, and the leader forbids marriage outside the group) cult would have you believe. They even use it as the address to their website. I'm talking about the WBC, or the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas. They are referred to in their Wikipedia page as "virulently homophobic". Perhaps their leader has a secret predilection he's keeping in the closet?

They're basic argument is, because the USA tolerates homosexuals, God is punishing America with hurricanes and soldiers being tortured and killed in Iraq. No, I'm not making this up. Read their web page. I'm not gay, but I can't stomach these idiots actions. It's a no brainer. What these people are doing is wrong.

In case you've been living under a rock, these miserable excuses for human beings have been protesting at military funerals with signs that read "God Hates Fags!", "God loves dead Soldiers!" and "Thank God for 9/11!". It has gotten so bad that a federal law was passed to make it unlawful to protest at military funerals. One state even passed a law making it "child abuse" for them to use their inbred children in their protests.

Now, they are planning to protest the latest casualties from the war in Iraq. Pfc. Thomas Tucker, one of these, is from Madras, OR. Almost 38 years ago I was born in Madras, OR. I guess this makes it hit home with me harder than normal. It is so wrong what these people are doing. I consider anyone who was brave enough to put themselves in harms way in the service or defense of this country as heroes, let alone being tortured, drug behind a moving vehicle and beheaded. These people need to learn to have respect for their fellow human beings. What a complete waste of flesh and blood and space these people are. I cannot describe how angry these idiots make me. What should be done about them is not up to me, but they need to go somewhere where the sun don't shine. You can't legislate manners and common decency, and unfortunately some people appear to be born without either one.

Look, believe what you want on the issues, but let's have a little respect for the people who have fought and died in the name of The Unites States of America. If it wasn't for people like Pfc. Thomas Tucker who fought and died on the beaches of Normandy back in WWII, we'd all be speaking German right now. In addition, these pieces of filth wouldn't be able to spread their hate and filth either, something that seems lost on them.

Well shit... I'm tired and I'm going to bed. Night, erm, morning...
